Learning Events

Moderators play an important role in connecting members beyond the Forum room. Taking just a few minutes each month to discuss upcoming EO Perth events helps members stay engaged, strengthen chapter connections and get greater value from their membership. 

Simple ways to encourage attendance:

• Add the upcoming EO Perth Learning Calendar events as a standing item on your monthly Forum agenda.

• Consider including an expectation in your Forum Constitution that members attend a minimum number of chapter events each year.

• If your Forum has a Social Chair, include promoting upcoming chapter learning and social events as part of the role.

• Spend 2–3 minutes reviewing upcoming events at the end of each Forum meeting.

• Ask who is planning to attend and encourage members to register together.
